Hound's Tooth seat insets for '76 Monte?

I have a red '76 Monte with a burgundy and white vinyl interior. When I re-do the interior anything burgundy will be switched to black but I'm keeping the white. Problem is that my car has T-tops and even though the seats are white on a sunny day even with the AC on "freeze dry" they get hot and sticky. White cloth is out of the question as it would be nearly impossible to keep white but what about black & white Hound's Tooth? I've seen a red '60 Impala with a black & white interior with B&W Hound's Tooth inserts and it looked sharp, it looks good in a '69 Camaro..... how about a '76 Monte Carlo? Another option would be light grey cloth inserts.

Hounds tooth would look great! If you get a black and white it would stand out. Just add some solid black accents to tone it down just a hair.

Thanks. By accents do you mean like a black border around the inserts and a splash of black on the door and side panels besides the black dash and carpet?

Yes, If you dont frame the hounds tooth it tends to make your eyes get a little buggy. I would put an insert of the hounds tooth on the door panels and rear panels to tie it to the seats. It would make it a really classy upgrade.
