Houston Area Upholstery Shops

O.K. Here I go again, I need to find a good interior shop to do my Willys. This time, the seats are done and look absolutely great, but he has not had time to do the car itself, and he does not know when. He has been waiting on parts for another car he is doing, and does not have the room. I witnessed it, but need something to get going.

Anyone here from around the Houston area that knows of a customer upholstery shop, PLEASE post a name or send me a private message. I have a couple of leads, but they are in Oklahoma, and I really would like to keep it local. Unless I could talk Krist Kustoms to do it without killing me financially.

Let me know peoples....

Jason

There was a thread here awhile back, maybe a year ago or so concerning this... Try searching back that far or maybe Vince will chime in. I'll need the same eventually for my '47 Ford.

Around here some of the guys in our club have used a fellow in Houston called Miguel. He does a good job and will do a superb job with a little extra $$, but overall he is very reasonable.

Yeah, I know, I was the one that asked. I keep getting bumped around by these places. Just spoke to Leon at Rods and Rides, seemed like a nice person. I am going to meet up with him, hopefully it works out.

I did not realize what this was going to end up costing. Ouch to the pocket book. Oh well, not much choice in the matter, either finish it or sell the darn thing.

Thanks, let me know of any other places you may know of.

I am finally on a roll, again, for the 3rd time. This time the man that owns and operates guaranteed me it would get done, and not take ages. He seemed very confident and sure of himself, and the fact he was recommended by several people my dad talked to that build muscle cars. So on Saturday, I took a drive out there and met with him, looked at his shop and pictures of past projects he did. I left the work up to him and told him to do what would look good, so here we go...

I also left with a good feeling about it, lots of pressure relieved.
