How about Mini Corvettes?

I went to Lake Compounce theme park yesterday, and they had these cars. Actually a kiddy ride that I had ridden as a kid at several other parks but just had to ride them again for old times sake.. I was surprised to see that my 6'1" self could fit comfortably with enough room for another passenger. Actually the cars are not that small.Probably comparable to a King Midget.. Some thinking while driving it, and I bet the design could hold 55 MPH or so and be comfortable. Stock form, they use 12" trailer tires, an electric motor and they only go 5 feet per second or 3.4 mph... Can't help but think what a small gas engine would do 10-15 HP and set them up like an old King Midget. Hydraulic brakes is no big deal with modern go-kart parts, and adding reverse to a go-kart is now pretty easy with a gearbox.. I actually found out their manufacture and It's almost worth seeing if the company would supply a replacement car body to an outsider.. •••CHANCE RIDES•••
