350 block, machined down 400 crank(or a crank made for 383s),383 pistons, possibly a small base circle cam,and an oilpan that the 3.75 stroke crank will clear.This is pretty much the extent of special parts.
I would get a whole rotating assembly from powerhouse or scat and it assembles the same sometimes you have to machine for rod clearance on the block and sometimes you need a small base circle cam
