how can i fix this?? PICS

i painted for the first time, my hood, bumper and trunk (base/clear)...overall pretty happy with it actually, except for the orange peel

4- coats of black base

2- light to medium coats of clear

1- heavy wet coat of clear

how can i sand/polish this? I would rather use a finer grit wet sand paper due to the fact that i would rather have a little orange peel, rather than burn threw the clear and have to do it again. iahev a car buffer will this work for polishing?

TRUNK

HOOD

BUMPER

keep in mind im not looking for perfection, ive always wanted to try painting, its not a show car .....so please dont make fun of me

You should be able to sand and buff that orange peel out. Start with about 1000-1200 grit wet, using something for a sanding block. I usually will use a piece of a stir stick for smaller areas. After you sand it flat with the original paper, work your way up with 1500, 2000 and then 2500.

Check out this site for good info on buffing.
