Pay somebody to do it.
Maybe a wet rag with soap, or a rag with carpet cleaner, and just scrub it real good.

Yeah, get a quote for getting it cleaned. Find a limo service in your town and find out who cleans their carpet. There used to be an automotive cleaning service next door to my shop. They cleaned a couple fleets of limos, they could get out some nasty stains. I wouldnt pay much more than $100, you could get a brand new replacement carpet for $130-$150.

Steam cleaning and some of that Castrol Degreaser works really good. I like to spray the Degreaser over everything scrub it with a brush and then steam clean it. WOrks a charm

Oxy Clean

Go to home depot and check out the Oxy Clean and Citrus Clean products that they carry. Secret is in getting a plastic brush (some thing like a scalp cleaning brush people use in the shower) and working it up to a good foam after you spray it. Fell a sleep one night drinking chocolate milk. Don't ask. Jumped to my feet and the milk went every place. Took me an hour to clean and the wife still doesn't know about it. Good stuff. That has been over a year ago.
