how can I power up a 6.2 diesel

I have an 89 Suburban 4x4 6.2 diesel w/o turbo, How can I get it to breath good and produce the power it should?

Don't attempt anything based on this but,I've heard that propane in a diesel is like nitrous on a gas motor.
Just a meaningless piece of nothing I thought you might wanna know.

Bump up the pump abit,add a aftermarket air cleaner set up( they have them out now), good exhaust system. I would replace the stock seperator if someone hasn't already.

In my opinion, those motors didn't even hold up well with the stock parts much less than trying soup one up! I wouldn't do much to them.
