How to Channel a 20's-30's Body

Let's see some Hot Rodders experience (& Pictures) of how to Channel a Model A or any other 20's-30's body.
I have a '29 Model A Roadster that I'd like to set over the frame, but would like to see what other people have done, and HOW.
What worked and What didn't!

The last car I channeled was a 33 Ply. coupe and it was chopped, channeled and sectioned. I was sixteen at the time and I am 59 now so my memory might be a little blurred but here is what I remember. The floor boards have to be removed and the body mounts removed. We made up a square tube frame but the original fame can be used but it must be narrowed so the body sits around the frame instead of on it. The firewall must be notched and new brackets made up which are mounted at the door pillars inside the body to rest on the frame. Depending upon how far you channel the body you may have to alter the doors or the will open into the frame. I don;t ever remember seeing a successful fully fender rod that was channeled but a fenderless one or cycle fenders looks good. Wis you luck and I will try and come up with some pictures
