How to choose a torque converter
I'm building a 350 bored .030, balanced, vortec heads, edlebrock rpm performer, edlebrock card, roller tip rockers, flat top pistons 9:1, installed in an '82 chev. long bed pick-up driven daily on pump gas.

I would call the convertor manufacturer of your choice and tell them your combination. They want you to be happy.
I would recomend a 2400-2800 rpm.
