how to combine matte n glossy clear coat..

hi all..im newbie here..n got a question..hope u guys out there can gimme some idea on how can i do dis...i want to do a combination of clear coat...some part with matte n some with glossy..how can i do dis..

You can use 2 different clear coats. In that picture it loos like they put a gloss clear coat over the flat paint. See how the light reflects off of it? Flat paint doesnt do that.

were you able to feel if there was an edge feel to it? I imagine so.

means i just spray the matte clear first, then cover with tape, n spray with clear coat?

You can do that but make sure you spray the same amount on glass and satin or it will have an edge in the paint.

See the black stripe between the white and gray in the pic? That's because there's an edge and the stripe covers it up.

can edge make any spoil to my paint?will it stracth someday?or it just bout the smoothness?
