how did they do this 79 trans am

i found this pic i need to know what paint or laquer acheived a finish like this i thinks it bloody superb ..thanks for the help

Actually it's not the type of paint... It's the amount of elbow grease used in prepping the car FOR the paint. A lot of work went into that car before the paint was even sprayed. Lots of blocking with long boards and lots of primer surfacer...

well 56 layers of buffed up primer it is then.....

Was once said there is no such thing as a good paint job! What they meant was it's all in the sanding and buffing.
