termite food GM cars

The old GM cars and trucks used mostly wood for the body sub structure. My son has a 34 chevy truck and is planning on building a steel tube and angle iron sub structure. The wood isn't re-usable. I have seen a wood filler product advertized in the home handy man and . home building magazines, a bondo type material for fixing rotted house window frames. if the wood is still usable you might be able to buy-or make metal connectors for the joints and use the wood bondo stuff to fill the voids, probably not as good as new wood but a lot less work.
