How do I fix a run in single stage?

I painted a truck today with Kirker single stage urethane enamel(solid black). Got a couple runs in it and am wondering how to fix them in a single stage system.

Also, I had planned on clearing it for added gloss, but didn't want to spray the clear until I fixed the runs. How do I go about clearing it now (after I fix the runs). I assume that I will have missed the clear coat time frame. Can I scuff and then clear or will I need to scuff, shoot more color and then clear?

You can take a scraper, the kind that you use to scrape stickers off glass, and scrap the bulb of the run off. The wet sand with a block the rest of the run out.

I've used Kirker before, and have found that you can recoat two to three days after application with no problems.

Any longer than that, you will have to scuff. If it were me, I would wet sand with 600 wet and then shoot the clear.

Could you use a fine scotch bright pad to scuff before clear? Seems like it would be quicker and more consistent then 600wet, but I'd worry about it leaving 2 coarse a finish.

where are the runs?? I never heard of applying clearcoat over a single stage paint, can you do it.

You can scuff and buff, I've got no expereience with buffing but it can be done from what i've seen

or you can scuff the whole are with 600 grit and spray a last coat of single stage.
