How do I get a picture under my name?
I want to get a picture of my car to show up under my name at the left when I make posts. I would appreciate some help on how to do this.

go to "my profile" then go to "edit options" then scroll all the way down to the bottom where it says change aveater

Ok, I'm really good with computers, but I can't find the "my profile" section! Kudos to my ineptitude...
When I created this account, I scrolled through the avatar list, but I want to add my own custom picture.

oohhhhh.... u have to send your picture to "jon" the guy that operates this site then he will put it in for u i forget how to do it exactly but u can seach threw sum of the old threads and it will tell u

Avatars are updated once a week. This is largely to prevent constant and frivolous avatar changes. With a once-weekly update, the average wait is 3.5 days.
If it's been 8 days, and your avatar still hasn't been updated, please re-send it to avatars@hotrodders.com. Chances are, it got stuck in a spam trap or was otherwise not delivered. Other common problems include not sending the pic to the correct email address, not including your username, or neglecting to attach the pic to your email.

Kevin, do you know why custom avatars can't be added by the users themselves? Was it members using avatars that go outside the HR guidelines? Just curious.
