I have a chevy 305HO. What would basically happen if I put in a 350 crank and rods. I would like to use the 305 block since it has less than 40k and no wear. The HO heads are cherry.
Thanks, Junior <img src="graemlins/crash.gif" border="0" alt="[crash]" /> |

that would be a 334 i think, that kind of set-up would be very pricy with all the machine work, unless you do it yourself.

A 334 would use a modified 400 crank with a 3.750" stroke. Take a look at this webpage, shows some stroker arrangements.
http://www.kb-silvolite.com/page17.htm Might have some useful info for you. |

What about the setup but didn't have it bored out- just longer stroke

If you put a 350 crank and rods in a 305 you will still have a 305. the extra ci come from a larger bore. 350's and 305's have a 3.48 stroke and 5.7 inch rods.
