Post How do I install dual side pipes on on 97' Ford Ranger?

I have a 97' Ford Ranger and it is a far cry from a hot rod, but I wanted to no how easy it would be to install dual side pipes on it. Would it melt any of my paint? Will I have a chance of ripping of my pipes if I bottom out? Is there a way to prevent it from ripping out? Thanks, try not to make too much fun of me. The Ranger is all that I have to work with for right now.

mine on my pinto are banged up a little but still on.mine actually has the exhaust running through the sidepipe so the pipe is a heat shield no problem with paint but something that new would have to have catalytic converters.
