How do i open hood??
The cable seems to have broken off at the latch. How can I open it? I have a 1986 chevy pick up. Any ideas?

You need to get in there with a long screwdriver or something along those lines and trip the latch that the cable was attached to.....a real pain .

I went to my brother-in-law's truck and saw his latch. I used a coat hanger to open it. I put a curve and hook and got it open.
