The company that transported my El Camino from California to Louisiana gave me an extra gift of having to learn how to repair body damage and the act of forgiving as the owner of the company hasn't felt the need to pay for the damage done.
The plan is to replace this fender over the winter months (There is so much body filler on there it isn't even funny) and repair some damage done to the driver side as well. I got a car show that I am going to go to in October (Cruisin' The Coast) and just want to clean it up some so that the tail gate at least opens up and hopefully doesn't lok like total ***.
I was thinking of just trying to open the tail gate as carefully as I can then tap that side in with a flat low crown hammer. Any other thoughts on a budget friendly way to clean this up?
