you can also try a 4x4 on the top edge and hammering on it with a huge sledge hammer. Take out the taillights first. That will give you your gap back or at least manageable. You might have some access from that tail light opening as well. From the looks of it I'd weld on some plates and pull. If the metal has a bodyline as the taillights indicate then that's gonna make it harder to pull out cause now that line is working against you to pull it out, but also leaves you a nice area to weld a plate too. I'd weld plates around and when I pull I hammer down highs. Then when some of the pressure is relieved I'd weld one onto the body line and it will pull out easier, but be warned the body line is gonna be more difficult to pull and that area with the most crease may be impossible or you might have to live with a little of it left stuffed under your filler.
