How does the steering column inside my 1967 Camaro go ?

Hi Guys
I wanted to changed some parts in my steering column because it was shift on the column and I have four on the floor. I replaced the section with the shifter with a plain one with just the turn signals and flashers. But now I am lost on how I took it apart. If anyone has a picture, or schematic of how it goes it would sure help. Thanks very much

THIS thread has links to diagrams that should help. Also HERE. While not identical, the column components were much the same thorough the years.

hey, after ten years of using a 'puter, did you know i just found out that if you press down the Control key, the up/down cursor on your mouse will make the picture you are looking at BIGGER OR smaller.

Well I thought I had it right but I could not get the turn signal section on all the way. So it is back in pieces. I think I have something wrong with the three springs and screws. How about you bullheimer have you had them a part?
