How fast can balljoints go bad?

I got a 1980 Firebird, when I got it it had the original balljoints in it and they were wasted. The idler arm was bad too. So I fixed both balljoints, put a new idler arm in, got brand new tires and had them balanced and aligned.

It did great on the highway. At speeds 70mph+ it was super smooth. Now about 2 months after all that it feels like my balljoints are ruined already. It shakes bad at speeds around 45-50mph, and gets worse the faster I got. It pulls hard to the right too.

could the balljoints have gone bad that fast? I do drive the car quite a bit and I live in Dayton Ohio, and if you've been in this city you know driving on these roads is like offroading.

Anyone have some input on what's the problem could be? Thanks

There's a flood of el cheapo front end parts nowadays, but even the lousy ones made of chinesium should last more than a couple of months.

I would put the front end up on stands and inspect the tires and wheels. A hunk of mud stuck inside the wheels will throw 'em out of balance, or you could have a tire separating.
