how to get that glass like finish
i was wondering what the best product is for getting that "glass like" paint appearance. i had a little bodywork done on my truck and its not very noticeable at all but if i look in bright light and such the paint in the area's that were worked on has very faint orange peel and a slightly darker tint. the rest of the truck has the glass like finish and looks flawless. is there a polish compound or something i can use to bring the area's to perfection? i have used a polish compound and scratch remover type thing in the past and it left swirl marks and dulled the finish a bit. i definitely do not want this with my pride and joy vehicle. so is there a polish on the market that you guys can recommend that will not harm the finish but will polish those area's up?? i havce access to one of those 12V battery powered buffers if needed. thanks alot

You need to colour sand it with very fine (1500-200) wet paper. That will take the orange peel away. You then buff it out with your compounds and waxes.
Not a job for the faint of heart....
