How to Get Wax Off of Black Plastic Door Protectors?

I have an older Honda Accord. I was Waxing it awhile ago and got some wax on the Black Plastic Door Protectors. I tried rubbing it scrubbing it off, but nothing works. Any suggestions for getting it off? What should I use? Don't want to do anymore damage then I already have!

Try some wax and grease remover. Can get it at auto stores and usually Wal Mart.

sounds like they are sun faded. You can use 3m plastic polish and a high speed buffer (BE CAREFUL not to burn thru anything) with a foam pad to bring these back to a gloss. Then the next time you wax your car they will "Wax on/off" just like your paint.

if they are really bad you may need to remove them to wet sand with 800-thru-1200 before polishing
