Take the casting numbers on the back of the block and look them up on www.mortec.com

Ayuh,.......

And,..... If it hasn't been Decked yet,....
There's the Production #s stamped on the leading edge of the Right-hand corner of the deck......
I Think Mortec lists most of them as well.....

This photo shows where the casting date is. Also the casting number.
The engine ID number/VIN code number also show the type vehicle the engine came in originally.
