How to GIVE stuff away ?

So HELP me with some suggestions.... I have a pefectly good for a daily driver 74 Nova bumper assy.... as far as I know it only fits 73-74 models....

How do I give it to a good home ? Hate to just throw it away.....have tried free on ads here, joined a Nova forum and find out you need 25 posts to put up an ad..... shouldn't be this hard to try and do a good deed .....

This is way too hard. should I just add it to the scrap pile ?

Thanks for your ideas.... Mike B

Try the HAMB. You can join and post classifieds right away (I think?)

give away

Put it out by curb with a for sale sign on it and somebody will probably steel it. Craigs list has a place for free stuff.

I had a steel gator bed topper ( heavy sucker. useless for what I needed ) up on CL for $250 for the longest time. sat tied to a tree with a F/S sign on it ( low traffic area. still some honest people around ). I got the occasional scrapper wanting it for $25, some guy who would give me $50 cause his son needed it. 1 day cought a scrap truck trying to cut it free. As I walked out, he got in his truck and bolted.. In the end I cut it up and scrapped it...

With as easy is it is to add -'72 bumpers, I doubt theres much market for crash bumpers

free stuff

Well... if its easy to convert to pre 73 non-crash bumper guess I dont need to worry about it.... still seems a shame to toss a perfectly good FREE 40 year old part. Off to the scrap pile .........

That's what I would do.

If you put it on CL for free, it's just going to end up on someone elses scrap pile
