How to improve my cabinet blaster

I'm blasting some parts in my cabinet blaster and the slow pace is killing me. I have an inexpensive floor based suction blaster from Northern Tool. I've already gone through troubleshooting it and I think it's just slow because it's cheap. I'm pretty sure I read a post some time ago about how you can add a pressurized tank type blaster to a standard suction blaster to improve its efficiency but now I can't find that post. Is it possible to do something like that? I don't do that much blasting, but if I can't get this thing to improve how it is working I'm going to go crazy! If there is nothing I can do to improve this thing can someone recommend a good affordable (under $1,500) cabinet blaster? Thanks.
