Hey Mike I was having the same problem with my cheap blaster that I bought from harbor freight. It turned out I didn't have enough CFM out of my compressor that I had. My home one was only putting out 6.5cfm. I took my blaster to my buddys shop which had an industrial type compressor putting out well over 20cfm and man did it BLAST. Then I NEEDED to run a vacuum to actually let me see in the cabinet. Somtimes flow is also slowed down by the type of media you're using. I like baking soda but it doesn't get rid of rust just paint and filler. But I had almost not flow with some plastic media I first used. Good Luck man
