How long can I wait to color sand / polish DDC Concept Single Stage?

We've been working on shootin my 66 VW bus for the past two week and ran into some nasty dimpling on the door panels the first few days which has really delayed our schedule. Originally we wanted to color sand 48 hours after shooting the paint but with the holidays quickly approaching and me and my buddy having to leave the project to visit our families Im wondering how long we can realllly wait to color sand and polish PPG DCC Concept paint? Its going to be a month before I can get back to the project, is that too long? Debating on delaying the whole shoot or just delaying the color sand.

Thanks!!!

I would leave it as long as possible. I had a similar issue, but with a couple runs. With my normal clear, I need 2 days in cold weather. I waited 4 days in 70-80 degree weather, then sanded and buffed.

A couple days later the problems were showing up again, because the paint was still shrinking... only now, the areas that had been thicker were set inward. Even the orange peel came back.

I called a guy who uses the PPG Concept all the time, he said to let it dry 2-3 months to avoid this problem. I stopped using that product immediately.

after 30 days it will be hard as concrete but will still buff. you will need to sand all the way to 3000 as compound wont cut it very fast. concept is my go to single stage . it is best to get on it within a few days but the added time will only effect the hardness of it.
