how long can a tranny
 

I bought this 400 tranmission from a friend about
3 years a go. what my question is how long can you
let a trannmission set before you us it? it been
in the garage for three years!! :rolleyes:

I'd drain all the fluids and change
the seals after having it
checked out by a tranny tech

If it had just been rebuilt put it in,if it's used change seals and filter if the pan is dirty better have it looked at.
