Post How long till we kill it???

K neils brother has this pontiac firefly (look in his photo album) anyhow the thing blows smoke so bad... last time we bagged it there was smoke coming from under the hood.. the car had both front end and rear end damage.. we buckled the hood hitting a shopping cart and more recently ripped the bumper off and secured it with wood screws so no one would notice we broke it... Anyhow.. the thing sound like a diesel and quit often sees clutch dumps, E brake turns, brake lockups, and bumps/jumps/rocks and many other harful things to it...

I was just curious to how long you guys think this thing will last... Wanna start a pool????

But more seriously on this non serious topic... I wanna see this thing blow...

Do you guys figure the piston rings are shot... along with head gasket?

How much clearance slop do you think there is after stressing the engine this hard?

Anyone know the braking point for this type of cars suspension?

Thing about it is neils brother gets mad when you make fun of it...

Ask neil what happens to his car when his brother won't move it out of the way

bagging is running it hard, high rpm, clutch dumps, basically making the engine/ car do more then it is designed to do without hotrodding it... Destroying it

yup thats baggin...

the firefly can't do much it can spin the tires for a full rotation (lower gears smaller tires)
Other than that we drive it through fields, pull the e- brake most corners and stops... and well rev it up...

The other night we got it to top out at 70km/h and by the end of the night it didn't want to start as easily as it used to (which was with the pedal to the metal)

I worked for an autobody. I drove the cars the people's houses after they were done, then get picked up by someone from the shop. I got to drive a lot of cool cars like some fast alfa romeos, big bmw's, 6 7 chevelle and some others, I always bagged em' on the way on the freeway when returning em'. I had a lot of fun with those cars.

Stoned I give it the benifit of doubt. Some cars are like a bad date, the worse you treat them the harder they struggle to stay with you.

1 honda 140k ran great rust bucket tranny slipped. Took to a chain of stored parking lot at around 2am with a buddy. Seatbelts on, 8k cluch dumps over every frikin concrete parking space divider I could go over without breaking my wrist at as fast as it would go. Bodyparts falling off (glass was already out) gouges in the floor, you nname it. by the end of the night one of the front tire ripped completely off, limped it home (not even a few miles) while my bro hung off the back opposite corner to balance it out. Engine still ran great, can't say much for the rest.

Hey Stoned the day after you kill it you'll miss it,I know I've had many a dangerous funhouse on wheels.A freind once told me "New cars are like protective bubbles, your car is like a rolling fort".We once beat a certain 82 inpala to death. After hopping a 4ft dranage ditch then later landing in one we had the rear coil springs actually fall out in the street and the car collapsed onto the pavement.
Th4n there was the rolling parts car once roasted the tires(snows)till I dug a pit in the road.Did dougnuts in the middle of the woods for about 65 rotations till the motor stalled.Ripped the bumper from the frame.
I miss them all.

monte not my car so I won't miss it neil on the other hand may

HK isn't it true.. seems with all the bad things I have done to my camaro (jumped it, bagging) the worst things happened to it when I was trying to be safe (moved over for a truck and the heavy snow pulled me into the curb, got rear ended by a u-haul, although it only cracked a tail light) The one thing that did hurt my car was when I hit the curb the first time dang leaves and trying to fishtail don't work out...

Also I got a big dent in my door cuz some ***** kicked my door when it was parked at the school parking lot...
