The driveshaft disconnect is interesting . Much more dependable than a pump but still kind of pricey . But still leave the slip yoke stuck into the tranny so I don't lose any fluid or get any contaminants in it . That way I wouldn't have to completely remove the driveshaft and have to find a place to store it and also have to plug the tailshaft too . That would work. Just dont forget to secure the bearing cups somehow. Maybe you could get an old rear end yoke and secure it to a bracket and just bolt the shaft right to it. Just dont forge to reattach the shaft to the rear before ou try to move the car or you willl break something for sure
