I couldn't agree more. This is an area that the customer needs to be educated and to understand that safety is an issue...like your bumper brackets. Body Shops can complain all they want, it's the guy that's paying the freight with respect to policy costs that needs to let the Insurance Company know that they won't stand for it...but that's a bigger job than anybody has time for.
Yes paper thin bumper covers wrapped in saran wrap...I wonder what University graduate thought that was a good idea?
