re: How many miles on your daily driver?

My '97 Silverado has (currently) 175,003.8 (oil was changed today--3.8 miles overdue... ), and the Mrs's '96 Skylark has 164,000 and some change.

In a while, Chet.

re: How many miles on your daily driver?

1997 Cougar with 108,000mi. I just redid the rear brakes, had a stuck caliper. Next is front wheel hubs, the right side make an awful racket if I take it on the freeway. 4.6L V8 still runs as good as new and gets an honest 26mpg freeway.

My 2004 F-150 only has 32,400 or so. It's still getting broken in!

My mom has a 2001 Cherokee I was just working on over the weekend. It has 199,xxx miles on it! It had a misfire on cylinders 3&6. Put new plugs w/dielectric grease and cleaned all the weatherpack connectors to the sensors. Ran soooo much better after that!

re: How many miles on your daily driver?

It looks like our cars are just barely broken in:

Wife's '03 V6 Ford Escape = 35K(might get traded this spring, but there sure is nothing wrong with it).

My '06 V10 F350 = 44K

My daughter had a Windstar that had over 200K before a cell phone babbler ran into her and totaled it - her favorite car since her last Toyota pickup. At least neither she nor my 3 grandchildren were hurt, thankfully.

1994 Toyota Corolla 206,000 miles and runs perfect. No oil usage between changes. 1995 Z-28 has 160,000 and runs like new. (knock on a woodlike substance.) ouch!!

re: How many miles on your daily driver?

Just turned over 60K on the ex-grandpa '89 Grand Marquis, and the backup '79 Suburban just turned over 60K for what I believe is the third time.

89 Ranger 2.3L 547,995 Km or about 340,000 miles. Lost #3 cylinder this past week (finally, been farting around for months). Bought "new" daily driver, low miler - only 207,000 miles, lol!
