How many times...?

How many times do we have to see and respond to the same questions over and over? How about:

1. I've got me a sbc block and need to know what it is. Can anyone tell me how to interpret the casting numbers?

2. My starter makes grinding noise and I chew up ring gears (or starters). Can anyone tell me how to properly shim my starter?

3. My car starts fine when it's cold, but will barely turn over when it is hot. It's a sbc with headers. Tell me about remote solenoids, starter insulation, ....

4. Here's my motor specs ..... Tell me how much horsepower it makes.

5. My engine runs hot. It's bored to paper thin walls and I put in an undersized radiator. Should I switch to an electric fan?

6. I've got a motor with 120,000 miles on it. It's got 13:1 pistons in it. Can I run a blower with this set up?

7. My engine is blowing white steam and I have to add a gallon of water every day. Will a can of STP gas treatment help?

Anyone else annoyed with the same questions over and over? What are some that you are tired of seeing?

Think of this as therapy. I feel better now!

8. I'm 12 and I want to build my Rambler into a 6 second quarter miler. Can I do this on pump gas, street tires and keep the center console to hold my Dr. Pepper?

9. My car currently runs 24 seconds in the quarter mile. If I swap the cam out with a used one from my six cylinder, can I run in the 11's?

Was I supposed to take the big blue pill or the small pink one? I took one of each just in case.

Take em both...you need them.

Seriously, there are a lot of kids out there with big dreams. I look at it this way. Better to spout off here, than going out causing all kinds of trouble. They could be worse....ie: drugs, guns, wild women (OK, even I want that one)

At least they have something in common with us "old farts"
