Slightly different tale of cars and bullets. Our son lives in San Francisco and one morning he got up, headed for his truck (which was parked on the street) and noticed a rather large crown gathered around along with a squadron of police. The closer he got, the more certain he was they were all gathered around HIS truck. Lo and behold, there had been a little skirmish and gunfire the night before and somebody had put four slugs into his Toyota. Luckily, they were all just through the sheet metal and cab (missed the cooling system, fuel system etc). He never did have it repaired because he said the girls were really impressed by it all.

In the 70"s I worked for a (remember this) a very high end bodyshop.

The owners wife was a real babe but crazy! She was a black belt in three different karates and the place had a full work out room and at least once a week I would have to fight this idiot on my lunch hour. (Felt I had to humor her) Anyway she went both ways and he knew it, well her girlfriend was a 13 on a scale of 1-10, so he did the girlfriend and she found out.
He thought the fight was over and she was following him to work and he is setting at the light in his 57 fulie vette, all of a sudden she pulls out her 357 and shoots the crap out of the car, not at him just the car 10 holes.
Took me 3 months to fix it and replace interior.
I stayed till I got the vette done as a favor to him and then it was good riddance!

Well I’ve been there. I went to a party many years ago. Well to make a long story short I was jumped by 10 guys for no reason at all they where just having fun with me and they all took there turn, and when it was all done they tost a big ** rock into my windshield as I was driving away it was a mint stock 70 cougar XR7 with a 351 Cleveland ,

So needless to say I went home and loaded up! And upon returning there had gathered about 50 people outside in the parking lot all watching me sit about a block away just sitting there thinking it was funny , one of the guys came over and said something smart *** like “what are you going to do about it? big mastake, We drove by twice unloading over 40 rounds total into all their cars. So I think they learned, better think twice next time. Not everyone plays nice.

Hay I served my time! I got nothing more to hide, guess i learned somthing to.

And to be honest with you it’s the guy who’s made a habit of hiding his dirty laundry that truly scars me in this world, at least some of us own up for the domb things we’ve done in our youth.

And besides haven’t you heard, Everything concealed will be revealed in the end anyway, so we might as well get a start on it now.

and so ya know the only person bleeding in the end was me, know one was hit intentionally, and despite what you might think I do have a conscience .
