hahaha, everytime I see that movie I think of a novelty/parody song that Willie did on an old Jerry Lee tune entitled "I can still hear the bandstand from my bedroom" EXCEPT Willie changed the lyrics to "I can still smell the bathroom from the bandstand"

Brian,

You never cease to amaze with your vast arraies of knowledge and talent!!

The next thing that you will be telling us is that you were once a "Chippendale" at the Rio in Vegas!!

If any of you guys don't know what a "Chippendale" is - ask your wife!!

Tom

OK, here are a couple I had my daughter record last night. The best one I did last night was The Devil Went Down To Georgia but my daughter had left and I couldn't get my wife to run the video camera but she said after that she thought recording it wouldn't have been any good anyway because all the people that got up and danced would have been in the way. The Devil is one of Karen's favorites to watch me sing because she says I always get the crowd going with that one. There is a lot of background noise though and I can hear other people singing along on these videos. The camera seems to pick up every little noise.

I cut the next one down to about half the song.

I try and do everything I can in this wonderful life. I have a "bucket list" for instance, it's a simple one, try every food on earth at least once. Never been a Chippendale, sorry, I'm not made for that, wouldn't be getting any tips that's for sure!

Here is one from last night. My buddy Steve was there and he loves this song, but he won't get up and sing. Micky is the guy that gets up on stage with me and he had asked me to do this song again also.

karaoke

I will confess to doing the karaoke thing...and not being half bad...but lets keep that under wraps. If my racing buddies ever find out I'll never hear the end of it. It must be a blast being able to do it with your daughter. Cherish those moments my friend.

Your buddies might have a good time doing it!
It is fun karaokeing with my daughter, I really enjoyed getting up and singing the Beastie Boys', Fight For Your Right to Party song with her. I'm still grinning about that one.

WR, why did you give up giging? I knew a guy that went around singing and playing guitar with his band until the day he died. He was getting right up there in age but he had a big smile on his face when he was performing, it was easy to see he was having fun.

Here are a couple from this weekend, my wife was sitting at the table with the subwoofer under it so I think it made the sound a little different. I hadn't sang these in public before but my wife thought I should sing "Bad to the Bone" so I did.

Having fun was never the problem but there comes a time "when it's time" and I wanted to make that decision myself instead of someone calling me off to the side and telling me it was "that time".

I could still hold my own but not without some boo boos and even tho my sons said it was nothing - - "it bothered me" so I sold all my instruments to my oldest son. They still invite me to their Jams at the house but that's it.

Crash, after listening and watching those last Videos, I see that you and I have the same profile - - - hmmmm, wonder if we are kinfolk????
