How to Modify chevy intake to fit 87+ 350?

Does anyone know if there is a way to modify the typical small block chevy aluminum intake manifold to fit 87 and up 350 iron heads?

I am asking because I am unsure of all the differences. I think the only difference is the four center intake bolts are drilled at 72 degrees instead of the typical 90 degrees. Is there a way to make an older style intake fit?

My brother bought a low mileage 89' 350 out of an IROC camaro to drop in his 68 Nova. If we can modify the older intake to fit that's what we will do. We don't want to shell out the $159 for a newer style intake.

Thanks in advance

intake manifold

Check with Randy Brzezinski at www.castheads.com

At one time they were modifying older heads to accept the newer intakes. He may have some pointers for you.

Heads.

You can buy tapered washers for the 4 center bolt holes. You just have to search for where to get them. I can't remember where I got mine. Sorry?
