How Much Horsepower?
 

Hi i just bought an engine and i was trying to find out the horsepower of it. :confused: please help! :)

engine specs:
Chevy 355 (350 bored 30 over)

62cc 2.02/1.60 Camel Hump Heads

10:1 compression

Comp cams 280H cam (about .500 lift)

Edelbrock Performer RPM intake

700CFM Carb (holley double pumper)

Mallory ignition

roller rockers

stock oil pan

MSD Plug wires

Mickey Thompson Valve covers


I bought it for $999, so do you think i got a good deal.

While there are many variables within the items you mentioned, you will have probably around 340-350 hp with around 360-370 ft. lbs. of torque through headers and turbo mufflers.

If you swap out the Micky Thompson valve covers for Edelbrocks you will gain a couple of horses. ;)
