Post How much horsepower and torque you think i have?

I have a SBC 350 bored 30 over, flat top pistons, the 993 heads 1.94/1.50 valves, mild port job done to them. Comp Blazer 1.5 roller rockers, 9.5:1 compression ratio. Comp High Energy 268H .454 lift 110 lobe seperation, Edelbrock Air Gap RPM intake with a Edelbrock 750 cfm carb. I ran it on Desktop dyno and the numbers just didnt seem right to me, a buddy of mine has the same exact motor but differnt cam but they are damn near identical and his motor pulls like crazy. Will i be satisfied with this set-up for a street truck that will be driven almost every-day? and what kind of horsepower and torque will i be feeling? thanks alot

More than a little, less than a lot.

No way your getting 375 with stock unworked heads. If you are getting 325 you are doing pretty good.

Why does this question keep getting asked. I mean it really just doesnt matter. I guess bragging rights to all your 16 year old buddys....only thing I can come up with since it seems to be all the kids wanting to know.

Hell, would it make you feel better if I said you are making 500 HP or more. I bet that car will run 10's.

Unless you are going to put it on a dyno and make some drastic changes, it really doesnt matter how much power it is making.

Not trying to be a pric, but this question is getting so old. I guess these are the pointless posts everyone should stop answering.

Chris

There does seem to be an inordinate number of "How much HP" posts of late......

I GOT AN IDEA... HOw about a how much HP DO I GOTS forum? Then everyone will just post in engine section when they don't get an answer there and the moderators will be busy moving them to the proper section.

How accurate Is this desk top dyno?. At least once a month my motor head buddies and myself get together at the local watering hole for some adult beverages, next thing you know $75 and 3 pulls later on the chassie dyno someone Is either on the hook getting a tow home or smileing from ear to ear. Desk top dyno might save some green backs and brain cells. Thanks for any info.
