I'm done. There's no winning an argument I didn't start or even intend on starting. I simply said that he should highly consider a blower setup to make it more street friendly. I gave up on the OP a while ago since i can't understand anything he's saying.

I was trying to help you bigdog.Im not arguing. What you said does not apply in this situation.I just wanted to help you understand what rice is talking about and why your alternative ideas did not apply here.Rice is racing at a much higher than usual level and because of that its harder to follow. Its like, why do some people race a 4 cylinder import when they can have an american v-8? There are as many answers as there are different cars.No one is really wrong or right if they like what they have. The Honda guys love taking their 280 h.p. hondas and beating 400 h.p. v-8s.
Think about how you would feel if your 3700 pound super charged 500 plus h.p. chevelle got beaten by a 320 h.p. 1.3 liter RX-7 rotary

He said it was driver way before he mentioned racing. To me that means racing comes second. If he dropped the compression on his current plan here and put a blower on he will make more power than his current plan. And that extra power will be more than enough to make up for the weight of the blower and then some. And since it's better mannered he will enjoy it more when driving on a day to day basis. If he said hey this is a track-only car then i could understand the high compression and giant cam But on a car that will be mostly street driven it will benefit more from a modest engine with a blower than a crazy lumpy race motor.

bigdog,we have a fella here Harvey,He has a 390 inch stroker with a blower, fuel injection, similar cam as to what I use.He makes 980 rwhp. Its a daily driver. These cars are not that bad on the street. The only problem is fuel consumption. horse power burns fuel.
On the other side of the coin,a neighbour has a super charged 350 in a rat rod.dual carter AFBs,672,headers with cutouts, super fat rear tires, looks like it could fly if it had wings,,,
runs 12.0s on a good day. kinda sad,but looks/sounds mean, just doesnt have the big cam and other items to make it a rocket.
