How much hp do belt driven accesories use up

On a 350 small block chevy equipped with a serpentine belt( if it makes a difference)

How much hp would an alternator, power steering pump, and water pump suck up ?

I've got an engine combo I copied form a magazine and I should be at 360-370 gross hp, how would that translate into net power ?

the amount of power varies, when your battery is low, heater fan is on with an A/C defrost then the alternator could use 8-10 HP.the A/c depends on compressor size, and it cycles on and off as required.Power steering uses very little when driving straight. water pump maybe up to 10 hp. as the rpm climbs so does the drag on the accessories.your idler(s)pulley(s) use a little power too.to a tiny extreme amount, the friction of the belt.
In the past,we used to put a switch on the field side of our alternators, good for a 1/10,just dont forget to turn it back on

not enough to warrent the electric pumps they fawn over now..
maybe in an all out race car, but even then, no one really races all out..
they all sandbag.. they now call it, stripe racing..or dumping... but if ya gonna play those games the 1/100th you's gain won't be needed or used..
