According to the General - L-48 = 180 HP
L-82 = 210 HP

I own one!

I am quoting from my "O fficial" GM specs, that they were nice enough to send me for free. Page 5 of MVMA-40A-76.

Serial # 1YZ37 base all states L-48 180HP @4000 rpm, 270 torque @ 2400 rpm.

Serial #1YZ37 Optional 350 V8 all states execpt California L-82 210 HP @ 5200 rpm, 255 torque @ 3600 rpm.

The sheet says these specs were issued in 9/75. The whole package is still available from GM for various C3 years. You just need your VIN.

210 horsepower for sure...Oh wait...I am detecting a hint of carbon on a couple plugs..Oh maybe it is 208.5...No...yes..oh...I think so.

Sorry, my crystal ball isn't working today. That and my psycic abilities aren't telling me all of your engine specs, or exactly what has been changed since it was original.

My common sense would make me ask whether or not everything is working correctly. (If your distributor or carb aren't adjusted right there will be less power. You may get more power than stock with a better ignition curve etc.)But judging by the question I doubt it.
