Im rebuilding a '94 chevy silverado - 350cid and my question is how much horsepower and torque will give a nice ride and performance? I was thinking around 350-375 hp and 300-350lb/ft torque. It will be used to drive a few times a week but is not my primary transportation.
I want to have a nice sounding and running engine that can perform when cruising around.
You can build your own also, the link has all the part numbers you need to do it yourself.
If you wish to keep the efi the HT383E is a good choice if you add a 96 and up intake.
OR you can use the HT383 crate motor and sell the intake from it and add This intake
I think you would enjoy this engine combination, a torque curve that is darn near flat and adequate hp too.
