How much hp will this boat setup make?

Already got everything on order for my boat motor. just curious what you guys think I should expect.

460 ford bored .060
4.5 scat crank
10.2:1 compression
cam: Solid flat tappet 258 dur at .050, .615 lift
roller rockers
Super Cobra Jet heads
Tunnel ram with 600 holleys

Jet boat? That's the only thing that would take that much RPM.

That much cam duration is dry-exhaust only. Otherwise you'll end up with raw water getting thrown around the valves when its hot. That much duration is also jet-only. Put a prop behind it and you may not even get up on plane. You also need your cruise RPM to be above the torque curve on prop boats.

Also consider that its rare to find a marina with premium fuel.

Ayuh,... Curtis is Right on,...

More info is needed, as a Jetboat ain't nowhere near the same as a propped boat...

'n, generally speakin', the 460 Ford, or any Ford ain't a very popular Boat motor...
Matter of fact, Ford has been Out of the marine motor business for many Years now....

Haha sorry. Yeah it is goin in my jet. 460's are actually pretty often used in jets too.

Ok, good. Lots of times on prop boat forums guys post about getting 500 hp from their 350 and we have to school 'em

I don't know how much those heads flow. You have any flow numbers?
