Post How much HP will I loose by going with a bigger pipe?

I have a mild performance rebuilt 350, I'm using dual Flowmaster 40's with 2 1/4 pipes, I want to go 2 1/2 or 3, will I loose HP?

You might loss a little torque w/ 2 1/2" but you'll pick up in the top end.

Personally I don't like 3" for the street its to unrestricted you'll loss lowend torque. It'll probably be better for top end a little but,why not just uncork it when you need that much power(the strip).
