How much Seam Sealer to use?

Hey everyone I'm working on covering the roof ditch of my 01 f-150 super crew truck . Here is a picture:
.
The dealer says the use the 3M Automix Self-Leveling Seam Sealer 08307 200 mL. But they did not tell me how much to use. Anyone done this and know how much to use and any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Are you going to weld it down or leave it like that?

Sorry Old Photo.

I'm sorry that's an old photo of the roof ditch. I'm putting back the spot welds that were originally there. Sorry about that. Yeah I'm using a MIG with .025 solid wire. Every replaced the seam on one of these?

Thanks

Mario

yes i have replaced something similar. You dont want it to be too thick because it could possibly crack.
