How much sprayable material to do a full car?

Just finishing getting supplies for my 67 fastback, and now I'm curious if I have enough, although the paint store assured me it's more than enough.

I'll be buying 2 sprayable gallons of SPI epoxy primer.

I have 1 gallon of 2k high build, so sprayable about 1.25gallons I guess.

6 quarts of sprayable Prospray base coat (3 quarts, 1:1 mixing).

2 sprayable quarts for lemans stripes.

And I'll be buying 1 gallon (2 sprayable gallons?) of SPI clear.

The interior, undercarriage, and engine bay are done.

So I need to do jambs, and the exterior, and underneath the hood and decklid.

As I said, they assured me it's more than enough, but now I'm getting worried!

The epoxy is probably alright. The high build primer depends on how much work you have to do to get to a paint-able surface. FWIW, never take advice from paint store counter drones. For the most part they are clueless about actual work involved and what works best and what doesn't. I think you may be a little light on your base coat amount. You do not want to get into laying your base down and run out. It is always best to have some left over for future repairs if needed. How many coats of base are you planning on shooting? Figure on a minimum of three to four good coats of base.

Oh god I hope not. I've heard 2-3 coats with Prospray? So exterior, jambs, and underneath decklid and the hood.

I bought two gallons of PPG DBC (4 gallons of reduced) for my 34 project and used every bit but a half gallon of reduced material. Granted I went overboard on the base with 4 to 5 good coats but I was not taking any chances with coverage. With body jambs, doors, hood, and deck lid to do I think you are going to run short on base.
