How to pick a camshaft/duration/lift

Hello:
I see quite a few posts where people ask: "what cam should I pick?"
Well, here is an article that I found on 3rd Gen.org to help the new person pick a camshaft and understand more what they are doing...Perhaps this will help on your next build for your car/truck. Hope this helps and it is easy reading and easy to understand.

This link should help. A lot of good info at the compcams site. Also check out their camquest cam selector tool.

I was looking at the dyno graphs of a couple of cams Comp used to get a guesstimate of torque and hp with the cam combination I am using...Should be close to 420 torque and 360hp...Good nuf for me with my mild build.

Thanks for adding the great information from their site~!
