I have a '40 Ford Fordor sedan with long drip rails. I'm slowing getting the body in shape in preparation for painting. In addition to being long, there is some bubbling paint in the drip rail channel indicating Mr. Rust is working down there.
However, the gap is so small I can't get any tool I have in there to remove the old paint, scrape the rust, treat the rust and prepare the area for paint.
Does anyone have a technique for working is kind of area? I'm open to most any suggestion short of removing the drip rails.
Thanks,
dw
