I have looked for the answer to this question but have had no luck. Hopefully, someone can help.

What is the best method to remove the factory body/roof stripe on a 74 Dart Sport? I would rather not damage the paint if possible.

this should be a decal stripe if so you can go to a auto paint store and ask them for a 3M stripe remover that goes on a drill they well know what you want just remember not to stay in one place to long

Thanks for the answer. I do believe it is a decal type stripe.

Is this an abrasive type of removal and is it possible to use this method without destroying the paint underneath?
